Last days at Gili Tarwanga

Finally a blog post about our last days we had on the island on Gili Tarwanga. So we went Saturday 5/5 from Gili Meno. Then took a while for us to find accommodation and walked for a long time among the alleys. Finally we found a really good accommodation! 😄 9 uro per person / per night, very good to be on this island! The first day we took them quite calm for everyone was just so tired! 

Started with a good lunch at the Manta Dive restaurant🍔🍟 

Continued by chilling further down the beach. Not as nice beach as Gili Meno, lots of boats and people everywhere but beautiful anyway🏖 

So, our accommodation looked! Pretty small area and a bit away from Main Street itself. If you look at the right picture the balcony straight up, at the top, there we lived! But definitely worth living a little further and get a significantly cheaper price👌 

Then there was little, or quite a lot of party in the evening, when this island is a little known for its party!🎉

We had a really fun evening with a lot of laughter, unfortunately, did not have fun the next morning but you have to take it 

On the other hand we ate a really good lunch! Look how good it looks, yummy😋 The afternoon continued and we did not do that much, I thought it was weird that my fuss never really crossed. Does not use to be soo🤔 

But, we had a lovely last dinner together at a good restaurant! Cheap to be nice restaurant but more expensive than we usually eat.

So first we took such a good appetizer with good bread with hummus, feta cheese in the sandwich and lots of good sauces😍 

Equally good main course too, the girls took meatballs and I a salmon paste. Wow how good! 😍

Then the sickness hit me and I started to get very bad quickly. Got stomach cramps, bad stomach and high fever. The night was tough and the day after I was quick to the doctor. I knew this was some kind of bacteria in my stomach again (like I had in Thailand) 😅 The girls helped me and went to the doctor for the first time on the island of Gili Tarwanga, got medicine but needed to be hospitalized. Tough travels back to Lombok😰 But got late check in at the hospital, it's another fun story... Can say I worked more for them than they helped me😂 A lot of help from the insurance company, I finally got home again, nice to be home!
