Surf and made an attempt to dive

The last few days here in Kuta Lombok we have surfed, chilled and made an attempt to dive So this post becomes a bit more like a picture bomb with what we have done etc! 

The view of our pool one morning! We have stayed at Kuta Indah during these 6 nights (in total), highly recommend if you go to Lombok. For 6 euro per night / per person we got our own room, pool and breakfast👍 Fresh place too! Then we have surfed again The first time I only went to Sofie R and Lotti (surf instructor) and surfed. 

Check out the beach we surfed from, wow so!! Cute to see so many kids surfing mini waves along the beach. On the other hand, we had to take a boat out to the disturbing waves We had a really good day and good waves! Nice to surf and easier than last to paddle to catch the waves The waves today are about half a meter and some 1m.

Have also found lots of cute dog puppies that we have fed, including this sweetheart😍 

Playtime at the beach☀ Started the next day to get up at 5:30 to see the sunrise, incredibly beautiful! 

Wonderful😍🌄 Then we surfed again and this time we got other Sofie too 

On the way out we see that the waves today are bigger than yesterday, also more winds. Which makes it harder to paddle out and the waves are more powerful. 

You get so tired after a lot of paddling😂 Did not take as many waves this day but had fun anyway. Something that is very fun is that after Surfcamp I only surfed hardboard instead of foamboard. What a difference it is and has developed a lot just these days, started practicing more on turns and Cutbacks😃 It's swinging on waves!

Today's lunch, fruit salad with coconut cream above Tuesday, our last day at Lombok, we made an attempt to dive. We had thought we would do 3 dives, ending with just making 1 dive😅 There had been big swallows that had come in and were still there. So it was wavy on the way out to the dive site. Our guide explains that it will be a little worse and we will be drawn with the waves even under the water. We jump in, the first thing that happens is that my tank is leaking .... oh boy😂 got to change the BCB (west) in the water and get a new tank.

Other things that happen are that my mask is too big so it immerses again and leaks in all the time!!😑

Which made it even worse. We saw about 3m (barely) in front of us and we were really taken with the waves Could have been a cool dive place without these swallows😄👍

A sofie up and down haha! Did not take any more videos because I was full of not getting the mask completely back immovable or pulled away with the swalls.. So we chose to sunbathe on the boat and not make more dives during the day☀ But what, what should you do? Now I have tested a bad dive too😂 

Tired and hungry we ate at El Bazar and ordered Lebanese food, so incredibly good! I took Falafel with all the vegetables and potato slices, mums! Good days in Kuta Lombok, for the moment we have now gone to Gili Meno. A quiet and cozy island! I will show you the pictures soon🌴
