Still in Malaysia, out to Mabul

I'll tell you a Fun thing for You. I've always been so set up that I'm going to Indonesia to meet Sofie & Sofie. So the morning when I'm going to fly from Kuala Lumpur to Tawau, I go to the foreign street but get the answer that I'm going to the domestic street ... Ops, so I'm still in Malaysia hehe! 😆 (You learn something new every day!) When I landed in Tawau I take a bus to Semporna where I will meet the Danes tomorrow (Thursday 21/4). No city to rent was a bit uncomfortable to walk on the streets by itself. Saw a few tourists sometimes in the area where I lived, otherwise completely self touristy But I ate cheap food, took a massage and took it easy. Thursday 21/4 Finally meet the Danes! So glad to see Sofie again! We meet with rain rain and long wait to get out with the boat to the small island of Mabul. 

It takes about 1h and when we arrive we are looking for somewhere to sleep for about 1h, finally find a Dorm room for 3 nights together with snorkeling every day, 3 dives and all food for about 102 euro. Which is very good if you compare with Swedish / Australian prices. 

Here we lived, at Uncle Chang, a dive company. When you google Mabul, there are nice villages right in the ocean, that's what we first saw of the island as well. When you go to land and see the reality. Everyone who lives in worn houses, walk bridges to the houses out in the water that feels going to break to go on them. Garbage everywhere on the ground, lots of sea, on the beach it's terrible to see! 

Here is the reality behind all paradise pictures..... Glad we came out here anyway to see the reality of paradise. But the tourists who comes out here, comes for diving💦 However, should not recommend coming out here just because of not sponsoring the place that rubbish down so much, really terrible to see and you just want to clean up everything you see.

But every swim we took or snorkeling trip we took out some trash from the ocean, you should save it and not throw the ocean away!❤ Immediately after check in we did some snorkeling! Nice reef, we manage to see 4 kinds of nemo and a very big leopard fish (do not know what it's called)! 😃 For the rest of the day, we took it easy, chilled a little in the sun and saw a cloudy but nice sunset🌅 

Met a really nice girl, Vivian from Kina. She was staying in the same room as us😄

Good afternoon and we all were so tired so we fell asleep around 21. Must get ready for dives the day tomorrow! 😍
