Diving Days🐢

I will do my best to not swam away too much and summarize these dives days for you😉 Day 1 (Saturday) Been super excited to go out with the boat, so finally! By the way, I have forgotten if I have told that I booked with Divers Den. Really satisfied and good choice to choose them!👍

We start on their day trip boat and headed out to the reef (took about 90min) and we talk about what skills we will do under these dives. 

(This is the boat we stayed in late for 2 nights) Immediately when we arrive, it's on with the equipment and then jump in! 💦 It was very wavy during most of the dives so always been better below the surface than above😉 After a good buffet lunch we have dive No. 2 and under these two dives we saw, among other things, a baby Ål, Nemo fish and several Nudebranch bland For those who do not know what it is, an image will come here: 

It's hunting small organisms (type) that are hard to find but very nice and lucky when you find them🌟 After dive 2 it was time to change to the overnight boat. So the daytime boat went back to Cairns and we jump on a very nice and freshly similar silja line boat fast a lot less than that Incredibly good hospitality and service throughout the stay! Good food all the time and the breakfast was the best (bacon, eggs, french toast, beans, fruit salad etc.) 😋

The platform we always jumped in the water from😉 Immediately after dessert and safety / welcome snack it was time for dive No. 3. Now the sight had gotten worse and we did the last of our skills under the water now. Some of the skills we practiced are filling the mask with water, taking off the mask completely and getting back, pretending to run out of air and signal to his buddy, take off all the equipment at the water surface and get back, etc. By contrast, during the 3rd dive, I saw my first shark😍😁

The shark was super still and tried to hide from us so I try to get everyone's attention by claping your hands... But just succeed in pulling Olivers (my dive buddy) foot and pulling him back to show. So awesome and we both became so excited!! 😃 Very tired in the evening after all the dives but we had the chance if we wanted after dinner to do a snorkeling activity in the dark Clearly I did it and many others! When standing by the boat edge and looking out behind the boat there were sharks and fish everywhere! So we got to the back yacht platform as they lowered down so we lay at the water level and could see everything! Very cool but sorry with a lot of waves so we went up and down all the time.

Day 2 (Sunday) The first dive was right after breakfast around 08 and now we became certified divers! 😃🌟 During this dive we also had to dive through a cave under the water, so cool! Only advanced divers are allowed to dive through caves but our instructor thought my group was doing so well so he brought us through The day continues with 3 dives to !! First dive all the way, just me and Oliver are of course very nervous, but it's all right! 

Oliver and a Triggar Fish in front of us🐟 During the two dives we did this day, I found several Nudebranch😄 We saw sharks, turtles, rocks, Lion fish, bluefish and several fish from the Nemo movie and lots more! So wonderful to be in this world💙

A nice evening🌅 This evening, it was our turn to do a night dive, we divided into groups and got a guide. What a difference, imagine a city in the day and then at night, nobody's on the streets anymore. Exactly that feeling now and you really felt that you were in the world of predators. No colors, little fishes without now there were sharks and big fish that were going on So cool and cool feeling! Day 3 (Monday) After a nice evening of card games with my Danish friends, we went up at 6:00 to make the first dive of the day. This dive was also especially the nightmare. Here we saw sharks and sting rays at the beginning of the dive and slowly but surely more and more fish began to come alive again. So nice to see! We also managed to see a whole nemo family "Mom, Dad and Mini Nemos!

Here is a map of Norman Reef as we went to various dive / snorkel locations. We were mostly in the north. After 10 dives, lots of good food, got new friends, experienced more than I could imagine, we end with an evening out at a bar in Caurns all in the dive group😄 Fantastic time and definitely one of my highlights this trip! 🌟 Hope you liked all the stories from the big blue!
