The Campervan route and what have I done the last few days!

To your wishes I have now tried to draw on map where we went and most small routes we also did😉

So we started in Cairns, drove inland first and then at the coast down Townsville. 

The inland road you see filled is the whole way we went up to Palm Cove for our long journey + half a day. 

Have tried to paint arrows if you can find them and you see where we went. All blue dots are also where we stayed and slept. Hope you got a little better idea how we went! The stretches here in Australia are so much longer than you think, really crazy actually😅 The last few days I have had cloudy, rain and now the sun came back again☀ So I have mostly chilled, walked a lot of walking, exercised, watched movies etc. Lovely days awaiting my dive course 

Despite the clouds first days since Max went, I still hanged the lagoon a lot. Nice to get out of the hostalet, but it does not rain, I am satisfied😃 

Here's the beginning of the Cairns Festival, there seems to be something they organize every year and have live performances, art around the lagoon and the lovely festival atmosphere! 🌟

One day I took a longer walk to a rainforest walk, walked for about 2.5-3h. 

Beautiful right? 🍃 

Got a lunch at the Cairns Botanic Garden, sat down on a park bench with lunch box, super cozy! 

And after a long walk, there was a Swedish fika, freshly baked apple pie and chocolate ball, what a luxury!☕🍰

Also bumped into Alice from Sweden as I met at the surfcamp without knowing she was here now, very nice!😍 We first took a ice cream together, after forgotten the time and realized that we just sat and talked in 3h we found sushi for 5 dollors!! So good too😋

I also managed to see an incredibly nice sunset! 😍 Luckily where was the low tide then could go out a bit from going walk. 

Wow, I will never stop admiring sunset or sunrise! After that, it was the first day of the Cairns festival and they celebrated them with fireworks and performances! 😃 

In the right hand corner you can see the picture on Esplanden along the water and there were lots of people! Even several people had picnic and what I thought while waiting for the fireworks🎆

Amazingly beautiful, felt like New Year !! 😃 Haved fun days here in Cairns! ☀ The situation right now: Day 1 of my dives course completed !! Being very nervous before all the exercises you were going to do and to be under the water where you only have regulator to breathe with... But they went well anyway! Retained the calm better than I expected and became proud of myself to do the exercises I was afraid to do before💪😃 More about it later!
